Your Tongue is Telling You Something

Do you know your tongue can tell you something you didn't know about your body?

I didn't know!

Thanks to Miss Phen Phen who has been really insightful all these while. She's like a walking encyclopedia, a fantastic cook, a cautious financial analyst, a wise friend and a great wife to that lucky husband!

She shared with me her finding that our tongue can tell so much about our health condition. I encourage everyone to try this test. It may take around 10-15 minutes especially if your mirror is not near and your camera sucks (like mine). Preferably you have great lighting. Take photos of your tongue with decent camera and then the test can be really fast!

So ... voila ... here's the link - http://beyondwellbeing.com/herbs/tongue-diagnosis.shtml#

Really hope you will learn a thing or two about your own body. I do! I do! I need more Guinness Stout for sure :-).

Keenan Cahill

Say whooooo?

The name Keenan Cahill didn't ring a bell to me even though he's already like a superstar! If you watched Uncharted MTV on my previous post, then you will notice this boy who's in blue t-shirt that says something about lip sync !@#!@# ... that's him. Keenan Cahill. Apparently, he's a youtube superstar simply by lip-syncing to popular songs. Not only his videos get lots of hits but just look at how by simply doing what he loves he gets to meet these people .... (3 videos shared below). So what if he has Maroteaux–Lamy syndrome, the fun still needs to go on. Now I really understand why he is being featured into Sara Bareilles' song. He really does say "YES" to life. Great job!

When One Wonders, One Gets Some Answers ... Sort of

Strange how questions are "kinda" answered ...
Just as I was "being lost" in my own wandering mode, a song just spoke me through its melody (at first). I'm not a very lyrics person. Tunes will speak to me louder than words. Then this song come along and the lyrics are just amazing. Great wake up call to just live the uncharted life as it is.

Check out the MTV at the end of the post. If you can't view it you may click here.
The MTV is really unique. In a blog entry on Sara Bareilles' site, she mentioned the reason behind the concept;

"This video is about my journey as an artist who looks up to the people around them. This is about being a fan of people who take chances, who are fearless, who have integrity, and go off into the world saying yes to what's around them. It's filled with some of the people in my life who do that everyday. They have impacted my world and are not only incredible artists, but great friends as well. They all worked this giant favor into their very busy lives and helped me out more than I can say."[6]

Uncharted - Sara Bareilles

No words, My tears won't make any room for more,
And it don't hurt, like anything I've ever felt before, this is
No broken heart,
No familiar scars,
This territory goes uncharted...

Just me, in a room sunk down in a house in a town, and I
Don't breathe, no I never meant to let it get away from me
Now, too much to hold, everybody wants has to get their hands on gold,
And I want uncharted.
Stuck under the ceiling I made, I can't help but feeling...

I'm going down,
Follow if you want, I won't just hang around,
Like you'll show me where to go,
I'm already out, foolproof idea, so don't ask me how
To get started, it's all uncharted...

La la la-a-a-a.
Oh-h-h.

Each day, countin' up the minutes, till I get alone, 'cause I can't stay
In the middle of it all, it's nobody's fault, but I'm
So lonely, Never knew how much I didn't know,
Oh, everything is uncharted.
I know I'm getting nowhere, when I only sit and stare like...

I'm going down,
Follow if you want, I won't just hang around,
Like you'll show me where to go,
I'm already out, of foolproof idea, so don't ask me how
To get started, it's all uncharted.

Jump start my kaleidoscope heart,
Love to watch the colors fade,
They may not make sense,
But they sure as hell made me.

I won't go as a passenger, no
Waiting for the road to be laid
Though I may be going down,
I'm taking flame over burning out

Compare, where you are to where you want to be, and you'll get nowhere

I'm going down,
Follow if you want, I won't just hang around,
Like you'll show me where to go,
I'm already out, foolproof idea, so don't ask me how
Oh-h

I Can't Answer It, Can You?

Urgh!

Since my verbal constipation has ended, I am on the roll! But if the other 2 regular visitors come - laziness and procrastination, my roll may be disturbed again. Oops. But since they are not here, I'd better move quick.

Anyway, I have been asking myself this one question on regular basis since the longest time. But I still can't answer it. I then thought I could steal some answers from others by asking them the same question. Alas, their answers are simply not mine. It doesn't click at all. Back to square zero I go.

The question is:
If money is not a problem, what would you do now?

This question supposedly able to unlock your passion, purpose, motivation, etc. But I can't answer it.

Most say they will travel around the world. I try to inject myself into that scenario. But I'm not the traveling type. I don't need to see the entire world to realize life is already perfect where I am. Seriously. If I ever need to travel, it's not the place that gives meaning to the journey. But the people and the experiences are the ones that make a place comes alive.

Some say they will do some kind of business; dog cafe, new clothing line, etc. That makes sense. Ventures need cash. At least they know what they love and simply need some funds to fuel them further. Good for them.

Me, nothing is clear yet. If I have the money, what will I do daily? For sure I will visit my parents more often. But as for activities that give meaning to my life, I am still not sure. Guess for now, I will accept that and hopefully, things will be clearer as I move forward.

The End of Verbal Constipation

Hi blog

Just dropping by to say hello.
I am not dead yet.
Just feel dampened to share.
Sometimes my voice tends to be silenced.
As others think this blog belongs to them too.
I don't have much positive things to share recently.
Mostly rants and pent up emotions.
I may choose to pen it down elsewhere. But no!
How unfortunate.
My blog but not purely my voice.
Hope one day people would stop asking me.
Why I write what I write.
Or whether I am writing about anyone in particular.
Stop.
Only I matter in this space.
Cause this is my space.
I pay for it.
Let me write in peace.
This blog needs to transform.
And from now...
I really will not bother to censor my thoughts anymore.
Let me be.
I just love being me.
You should to.
We are the best thing God has ever created.
Not just iPad.
